Monfortino is a Barolo that has become part of history, considered one of the best red wines in the world. Born in the greatest vintages from the best Nebbiolo grapes of the cru Francia, in Serralunga d'Alba (CN) as well as this 2013, with a very high international score. Vinified in wood, it ages in large barrels for more than 6 years and it is considered one of the greatest wines in the world for both charm and performance over time. A must have for real wine lovers.
Monfortino opens with a breathtaking nose that is to die for. Expressive aromas of leather, spices, cocoa, and roses gradually emerge from the glass. On the palate the wine displays masses of concentrate red fruit that coat the palate with extraordinary length.
