It is the great wine made from grapes of the best selection of Brolio, aged in barriques and the long aging in bottle brings out the nobility and elegance. The production of Castle Brolio is closely linked to good performances of the year, so it is only possible when the quality can express itself fully.
Of impenetrable garnet red color, the nose offers notes immediately suffused with black cherry and tobacco. All surrounded by a hint of juniper berries wrapped in a light spicy pink pepper. In the mouth it is full-bodied wine with tannins seamlessly merged into the fabric of taste and smell. Good persistence, with notes of tobacco, but this time it reappeared secondarily transmitted by the freshness. Goes well with soups and game.
