Fine wines of the Marches
The Marches region knows how to produce good quality wines, certainly some of them are considered by connoisseurs and lovers of good wine to be products of excellence. Firstly, it must be said that the region is mostly hilly and mountainous, and therefore numerous brands of D.O.C.G and D.O.C are present throughout the entire Marches Region.
Certainly the most well-known vine is Verdicchio, to which we add Pecorino, Passerina, Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano Toscano. All of these offer fresh and optimum white wines. The most famous black berry vine is Lacrima together with Montepulciano and Sangiovese. For example, the Passerina vine in purity is able to give an excellent white wine whose floral scents are enhanced to the nose.

Definitely aromatic, round and full-bodied, Villa Angela Passerina labeled Velenosi is the story of how modernity manages to perfectly marry the ancient artisan tradition. The grapes are carefully selected and hand-picked in order for the final product to be of high quality. Full-bodied and easily drinkable, it is a premium wine very suitable to be sipped with first courses. Another noteworthy and certainly well-known masterpiece of the Marches is surely Kurni, Oasi degli Angeli.
Named the best wine by the most renowned wine guides in the Italian panorama, it is a pure Montepulciano aged in barrique for about twenty-one months before being bottled, without undergoing any filtration and clarification process.
A premium red wine for true connoisseurs, full and intense, which gives an explosion of flavors and fragrances among which we recognize vanilla, spices, tobacco and red fruits.
It is a perfect marriage of balance and perfection. The vineyard of reference is positioned at about three hundred meters above sea level on sandy and well-drained soil. Impossible not to try the wine since it is presented like a real sensory experience with a production of only 5000/6000 bottles per season. It is truly a masterpiece of the Marches wine scene. In any case, premium wines of the Marches region are not finished here.
