Ornellaia 2010 Special edition of 25 years by Michelangelo Pistoletto

A large bottle to celebrate 25 years of the winery created in collaboration with the great master Michelangelo Pistoletto. The famous mirrors this time merged with the bottle to create a play of light and reflections. A Union between art and upscale wine ready to be collected by connoisseurs.
The artist has created labels for a limited edition, signed and numbered Edition consisting of: 100 double magnums (3 litres), 10 Imperial (6 liter) and a Salmanzar bottle (9 litres). A limited and numbered edition of bottles has been auctioned by Sotheby's during a charity event in London on May 16, 2013, with the proceeds donated to the Royal Opera House Foundation in London.
The 2010 harvest was among the best in recent years and has produced one of the most elegant Ornellaia expressions.
A deep ruby red announcing significant complexity on the nose, releasing intoxicating scents of dark berries, spices and tobacco. The palate is simply refined, with silky tannins and clear fruit, crowned with an ending that offers excellent tannins.
To accompany a game and stews are typical of Tuscan tradition.
