The 1999 Rosé Late Release is terrific. Rich deep and creamy the 1999 hits all the right notes. Wild cherry ginger spice and rose petal build effortlessly in the glass. Still quite fresh and vibrant the 1999 is superb. This was an especially low-acid year the lowest since 1959 at the time with very ripe Chardonnays and yet the wine is positively stellar.
