The origins of French champagne
The wines obtained with the most famous champenoise method in the world take their name from the French region of Champagne. Tradition has it that the monk Dom Pierre Pérignon used for the first time the method of vinification called the champenoise.
These vineyards are generally found along the French hills and the grapes are able to have a special flavor thanks to the harsh climate and the position of the territory in which they are grown.
The production of champagne takes place through a precise and constant process over time. They are wines that do not need great presentations and can be tasted better if served fresh, however not too fresh.
To enhance the taste and not to overheat this wine, ideal would be to put ice in a champagne bucket and put the bottle inside.
Enoteca Properzio chooses its wines very carefully and for this reason it offers almost exclusively fine champagnes that are sought all over the world.
